1 million euros to help Southern Italian businesses embark on the path of innovation

Fondirigenti is allocating 1 million euros to support the development of managerial skills and competitiveness of companies based in Abruzzo, Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Molise, Puglia, Sardinia, and Sicily.

With Notice 1/2020, the Fund promoted by Confindustria and Federmanager aims to support Southern Italian companies through training projects (targeted at registered Executives) designed to develop new organizational capabilities and skills, as well as new management and production methods.

Training plans may cover one or more of the following areas:

  • Production and Management Process Efficiency Area
    Training interventions to improve production system processes, also from a 360-degree sustainability perspective, and to support companies in facing the current scenario through financing and credit tools, planning, control, and project management
  • Digital Transformation and Development Area
    Training interventions to facilitate the transition from analog to digital or the implementation of digital processes already in place within the company
  • Internationalization Area
    Training interventions to support the company in an internationalization process that is either already underway or about to be launched
  • Marketing and Communication Area
    Training interventions to improve and relaunch corporate communication and market positioning
  • Human Resources Area
    Training interventions concerning new forms of work organization (smart working), human resource management and evaluation, the recruitment of new talent, and corporate welfare tools
  • Strategic Development Area
    Training interventions to support companies in relaunching their strategies through, for example, the reconversion or innovation of their business model, the creation of new supply chains, and the development of partnerships and/or collaborations with Universities, research centers, or other companies, also from an open innovation perspective

Given the emergency period during which the activities may take place, companies can choose to carry out their training path online.

Each participating company may request a maximum of 10,000 euros.

The deadline for project submission is set for 12:00 PM on October 26, 2020

Please Note
Companies can also participate in the Notice if they:

  • have been excluded from funding in previous Notices;
  • have a balance of €0.00 on their Training Account (Conto Formazione).

However, companies cannot participate if:

  • at the time of submitting the Plan, they have a balance equal to or greater than 2,000 euros on their training account.
